Ok Stump,

If you need 4" of Bumper to Weld the sleeve of the spindle to, with that taper how are you going to mount it without blocking the hatch?

I dont need 4" of bumper to weld the sleeve to. I am not using a spindle set-up on my bumper.

Like I mentioned, mine will be a double shear bracket on top of the bumper, with a machined delrin bushing and a 1" hand made pivot bolt.

The other bumpers I have done with the spindle have been 4", and the last one was a 6" tube with 6.5" sleeve.

Here is the last one I did: I used the comp4x4 spindle with the 6inch sleeve, and even it has quite a bit of deflection at the top of the spindle, with just a 32" tire and a hi-lift. Double shear would have been MUCH better.
