M09 is a "punch delay finish." M00 is a "program stop."

I'm building an 8.8 from scrap metal.

Fawk. what is a 9" anyways?. :D

Should end up being some great tech here that would help when building things really light weight.

I'd like to see more on sheetmetal cages.

You know if you keep this up I'm going to send something for you to do. :D

I only work with 3003. Ask me how much shipped, 2024 is reserved for Weasel and Beezil. :D

Hah, I made a rhyme. Do you want me to continue? LawnCher and XJ are enkineers... Asknened them. :D

Aluminum is so ... 1970's.

Gurney Lightning-Eagle monocoques were fabricated from 5052, so what is with the wimpy 3003 (are you afraid of making mistakes and overworking the metal)?

Will it have a nickname, "Dimples?"

I'm a little slow.

The airframe engineers that provided advise to them should be where most airframe engineers ought to be. Banished to the jig/fixture table, and forced to carry overload backpacks of clecos all day. 5052... sheesh. :D

3003, the secret weapon of hacks all over the world. :D

Cool stuff, Captain Ron. Do you happen to have any summer internships/jobs for engineering students?

On a serious note.

We have been in a position to host a few this year. Last summer was a little difficult because I had more applications than paid positions, and the choices were difficult. I expect this summer to be no different.

I have been approached by a few from this board, and I would be happy to make my first picks from here given favorable circumstances and the availibility of openings.

The emphasis is manufacturing, and process improvement in a precision environment, hands on.

PS: So as not to screw up the quality and emphasis of my posts lately, inquire backchannel. :D

Civilized people sit when they weld, at least the ones that weld once every other month for an hour or so. :D
