I would disagree. I've been running heims for my steering and they've been much better and way stronger than the TRE's and mines a DD. Tractor supply places will usually carry course thread heims. These are fine thread and are much better for DD.
Can Man, the RE number he provided is the QA1 EXML 10/12 which is a steel left hand rod end that has a 3/4" shank and a 5/8" bore. The chromoly ones are the XM series which is what I use. The chromoly has about a 40,000 lb rating and the steel has about 16,000 lbs. You see why I run the Chromoly

For a track bar, using heims and a flex joint is a good idea.
