RD March run?

Did JohnB mention something about a RockDawgs run in the middle of March? I'm available to go. I didn't see anything about it on their site.

If there is no such thing and I imagined reading about it, then is anyone interested in a March 15/16 Paragon trip?

For some reason, JohnB is having difficulties posting here, so I'm passing along word from him:

The Rock Dawgs will be attending a ride on March 15th/16th at Paragon as part of an event to benefit Steve Smith & family, who apparently was in an accident and is currently in ICU.

This is an excellent opportunity to help out a fellow wheeler, fight off cabin fever, and BS with the ol' gang once again.

Mark,You know I would go but my XJ is in a radical transition period right now.I am guessing maybe the beginning of April it will be back in action and ready to tear it up.

Well, it sure is tempting (and is for a good cause), but the simple truth is I've been putting 3 XJ's worth of mods and maintenance off due to the cold and I'm really, really behind.

March has GOT to be my work month, if I expect to play w/o guilt during the rest of the spring.

I am going to make it. Jeep is up to speed, got my 4:11 gears in. This will be a good test for them. Then on to Utah.

hey i will be heading to paragon for the run.. and i know marc and frank from union co 4wd and performance will be going... the mods arent nearly finished for this season.. but i'll be at a transition spot where i can wheel it .

I would love to get out of the those two weekends. I was supposed to go twice in the past 3 week....and neither happened.

I decided to take on a pile of snow in my street today since i haven't done anyhitng nearly fun in my jeep since november and got high centered and ripped my exhaust off AGAIN, so I finaly welded it all together with a few spot welds. My neighbors kept on asking me if i wanted AAA to come, it was kinda funny.

I will definitely try to come.

Correction!

Please be at the staging area by 8:30 so we can leave for the trails at 9am sharp. The new entrance to the staging area is off Oak Ridge Rd near the bend, not by the water tower as in the past.
