For that kind of money you could build your own locking hub Dana 44 or almost have enough to buy a Dana 44 housing that already uses locking hubs.

I have never seen those before, but I'm super curious about it.
he doesn't say which bearing he uses (early or late) and doesn't list replacement bearings available. i have to admit i'd almost be willing to run that.
