We are debating whether to have the big day and dinner at the Fall Fling on Friday night (like we have been) or Sat night (like we used to). It appears that weekend attendance is down to next to nothing, and I can't help but think we're missing something there. I know it's nice for the way out of towners who have a weeks vacation to be able to leave on Sat, but what about you folks that are closer?

Will more of you come if Sat is a big run day and the big dinner, raffle, and customary awards are on Sat night? Or do you prefer Friday night and moving the dinner to Sat won't make any difference to whether you'd come.

So, quickly, post up, we need to finalyze the reservations.

Thanks,

Either way wouldnt matter much to me. It is kinda nice to have it on Fri. so you go boogie out of town on Sat if you wanted to. I usually am off till the following monday when I attend anyway.

If there is more attendance on Friday. Then I vote for that night. That way the far out of towners are getting to attend the dinner/raffle and still not having the stress of rushing back home the next day (if you have to be back to work on Monday)

Doesn't matter to me. If I get to come I am off Monday and it is only seven hours (or less) anyways.

We should take into consideration those who are driving a long way though. Some don't have a choice but to leave on Saturday.

Friday should accomodate more people. Guys like Bob Loose and John Bjorum do drive quite a distance and tend to incorporate the Moab event with additional vacation location/travel the week before. They traditionally have to head out Saturday morning to get home for work and kid's school on Monday.
