PT Cruiser rear bump stops -Junkyard long-travel bumps?

Found these gems on daddy's 04 1/2 ton today and by god they screw right in place of the front xj ones. Only took a second to reach in, spin the nut off and he wouldn't even know.

They even cleared the coil springs after I adjusted my caster cause the stock bumps were rubbing and the axle is pushed foward ~1".
Sorry, rotated the photo and still sideways when posted.

Went to the JY to find some more. The only truck there, some dumbass took just the rubbers and I found about 10 blazers with the envoy bumps in the rear. For some reason their bigger but thinner. Especially towards the bottom they get real thin, round and brittle. But, I found these on a honda pilot of all cars and by god these too bolt right in place of the stock xj rear bumps.

We're getting some good info here!

I put the pt bumps on my heep.

Left and right brackets. I cut the cups off and bolted them on.

2.5" compression. That puts it at about 700 lb. A bit less than I'd like, but better than nothing. Plus I have shock bumps. And these were free.

Found 2.5" square tube. Cut off 1 side, drilled a hole in the other. Welded to axle (not very well, don't ask what I'm working with). Bolted bump cup in. Measured and decided it should be closer, so I put in a hockey puck that I was using in the front before I switched to prothanes.

I was able to get the entire silverado bump stop off GMpartsdirect. Everywhere else they are sold without the can and had no luck in numerous junkyards. I almost resorted to stealing them off one of the trucks in the neighborhood. Their also about $12 a piece, which was great for not having to modify them.
