If i still had an XJ, I'd probably at some point mention it. I parted him out last year after the hubby sank him in a hole at LBL and killed him. That and we needed the money for other stuff. Necessities come first, toys come last....unfortunately.

So I'm on the hunt for another project as well....unfortunately i'm entirely too picky.....

You should buy Doug's MJ.. fix it up and use it for Garden work and DIY work..
I see it as a win win deal.. $600 (MJ) + $400 (engine) = $1000 MJ 4x2 to do your DIY stuff..

Mark :)

it would depend on the MJ. only MJ i want is a SWB.

you probably want entirely too much for your jeep. and like i said i'm picky.

if i get an XJ, i'm holding out for 97 and newer. i want the newer body style.

and yet another project completed......the crappy ceiling fan in the bedroom is replaced with one that matches the one in the living room.

updates on progress:

finally paid my neighbor lady's friend to weed eat the back lawn...the weed eater i borrowed wasnt cutting the cheese (or much of anything else)

and I got all the nasty grungy orange outlets in the kitchen replaced with brand new nice white shiny ones.

and for the continuation.......i did this project earlier but didnt post anything cuz it was a surprise for the hubby, but figured i'd tell him today.

i found out for the next time i embark on a project......its way easier to spray paint than to brush paint the base. brushing on 3 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint was not my idea of fun. for the interested individuals.....theres 2 coats of stain, and 6 coats of poly on the table.

actually we already owned the chairs, they came from the old kitchen table set. the old kitchen table is now our new office desk. and the table i got from the thrift store at ft benning. that was in no way meant to be john deere stuff. i just happen to have some john deere stuff on the table.

i was being sarcastic.. but hey.. looks cool!
