Styrofoam is the way to go then

put on my sliders this weekend and went to the rubicon!! Here are some pics of the journey. Camped at spider lake with kevin (jeep450r) and his buddy mike in a CJ. I also broke my rear driveshaft on the con, and another XJ guy was kind enough to give me one.

Well im the proud new owner of a millermatic 180!! Super stoked to start using it. Got the machine, bottle, and cart all for 600$. You guys will start seeing more custom projects now and im really excited. First thing on my list is metal rear tail lights, so that will be coming up soon.

Dang, I havent posted in forever!! Here are some pictures from a rubicon trip a few weekends ago. I think im going to be doing one or two more rubicon trips then take the jeep back down to the bay for repairs and some crazy mods.
Also in this post I have some photos of the IRO leafs and shackle angle.

Ended up wheeling with this group of buggies from the Sac area, and ofcouse they kept breaking stuff and I had to keep saving them. Ended up taking us 4hrs to get from Loon to Spider, but it was a party along the way.
Here is a photo of me winching one of them off a tree after his clutch master went out and ran into the tree.

Then the next night they hit Soup and ripped the track bar mount off the axle and cracked their diff cover square in the center. Funny thing was, after his track bar broke off he kept romping on the gas trying to make it up. In the end a Ram had to winch him off the rocks.

The original weld didnt penetrate the axle tube at all, so here is them trying to weld it back on on the trail.

They also ended up fixing a broken radiator with JB weld, 2 eggs, and tree sap. Also their trail weld broke on the way back out to loon on the granet bowl. Luckily I wasnt wheeling with them that time, just passing by.
Photo of our camp next to Soup, and Sea cooking up some mean Cosco hotdogs.

The last night we were there we saw someone getting tugged out by soup, they ended up smashing their tranny pan on a rock. Unfortunately they ended up flipping a little ways lower on the trail that night and the driver had to go to the hospital.

The rock they broke their tranny pan on, so random. Huge rock that you dont even have to go over.

Continued from above...

And my welder with the FABLAB sticker that my buddy made a bunch of for me. Might be opening a fab shop for friends this winter, we will see how many tools I can accumulate by then.
