Project Rudolph

I used my 36mm and whatever size fit on the camp. A c clamp and hilift handle. Worked good for trail repair. Was that some offbrand/parts store ujoint?

Front ds should work perfect. Ran those for years with same setup. Unless u got the super short sye?

we rebuilt a CV shaft on the slabs years ago with a sledge hammer and basic sockets.

It was a spicer ujoint in there before (i think) and also the new one im putting in.

Ok yea im just running a regular SYE, so ill go to a picknpull and grab like 2 spares. Are the front orm driveshafts the same strength as oem rear ones?

just measure yours and find 1 or 2 that are within a few inches. you can go a little shorter for a spare just less spline engagement, and a little longer, but not too long. +-1" would be fine. if you get an XJ automatic front DS you'll be fine.

Getting the rig ready for the Rubicon in a few weeks, as well as some wheeling with highschool friends and grand parents.
