Project Rudolph

Personal advice, enjoy this stage in your build, it is awesome, maybe do some aussies and just rock v8 zj steering. My rig now, bronco dana 44 and a chrysler 8.25 29 spline. It isnt as much fun as my rig was with 33s and a welded rear.

Got my rear seat headrests in!

I may wheel more aggressively than i should. But i could show you all the bulges and creasing in my floor and b pillars that would give you a good idea just how much they flex when you wheel. That was from one season of wheeling without stiffeners.

Big things going on this Wednesday! Getting in a new bumper and a Warn M8000-s! Gotta get the XJ ready for Reno Run at the start of the summer. Anyone know of anything I should do armor wise besides rock sliders?

belly pan + gas skid.

build one or buy one and modify it to work.

what LA are you running?

just buy something and make it work or just go buy some 3/8" plate or 1/4" plate and build something.

you could cut and weld 1/4" plate to the bottom of the stock X member even . Get a factory t case skid then as a better than nothing approach.

Also consider ditching that LA kit and get a real Long arm kit.

gas tank skid just go to PNP for now and grab a stocker for the time being.

What do you mean by a real long arm kit?

Smittybilt XRC bumper went on! Fitment was way too perfect, they should have increased their tolerances just a little bit. Finish on it is spot on, and once it went on it was even on both sides and sits well. No spot for vacuum can though, so its temporary zip tied to the bracket that the horn is hung off.
