Project L.A.S.R.

the lincolns do pretty good. i have the weld pack 100hd, trail rate this has the another one similar to it. got mine from home depot...with a 15 percent off coupon, so it was a pretty good deal.

Well i bought a small Flux welder a couple weeks ago and got the pillar welded into place, Finally ! (after alot of cutting, fitting, welding, repeat)

its just about complete as far as that goes, I threw some primer on it just to see how it looks, over all it turned out pretty well, just got to do some light body work and it will be ready for paint !

Wow, you did a good job og blending the pillar in. Good job.

Nice work Chris. It looks good!

Hey, thanks for all the nice comments guys, much appreciated, makes the project all that much more worth it with a fan base.

So i scored some more parts today, found a guy parting a few XJ's in Nashville.

I was able to grab from a limited model XJ:

-Infinity tweeters
-map pockets
-front bumper with 7 point tow hooks (both the bumper and the brackets are a little mangled but i just want the hooks and mount brackets, and its an easy fix)

best of all i only paid $10 for everything !

I was able to gather some more rust free replacement parts and some more armor including:
-front and rear bumpers with end caps
-front fenders and flare retaining straps for all 4 flares
-transfer case skid
-fuel tank skid
