thems be 14" 5125s. 7" uptravel, 7" down. should be perfect for when i decide to lower this thing a couple inches in the future.

also kinda have a bed floor now. gonna be a lot of work making it perfect. i think im just gonna stitch weld all the sheet metal in then bedline it.

not sure if i want to seal it off (the hoops, not where the shock goes through) or cut it through so i can still pull the bed. its not like im gonna have much reason to take the bed off however anymore. gonna put some of that door trim stuff on the holes where the shocks go through for prettyness.

Those shocks are gonna get hot. Something ya might wanna think about before putting some 2.5x16s in there.

Ya think? The exhaust that far back doesnt get very hot. And i can always move it. If thats what yer saying

After a 20 minute drive i can grab those pipes back there by hand. I was concerned about my brake hose being so close.

If you boil them good they could turn to garbage, but I doubt you'll get them over 200F... Which is when you'll start melting seals. The exhaust is next to them not dumping on them.

thats what i figured. possible shakedown run sunday. ill do some crawling and then spit on them. if my spit dont sizzle, ill grab them.

made a traction adding device.

2" x .250 square tubing, ruffstuff bushings and a 7/8" heim.

doesn't lift the truck at all, doesnt XXXX it to one side at all. i can dump clutch in second gear and it just spins the tires and goes. not having axle wrap is amazing, no funny noises, just hooks up.

got a dumb steering stabilizer to try to control my low speed bump death wobble.
02 f350. 12mm bolts at each end, plenty long, just made a few tabs to mount it.

rear bumpstops. it was either make these bigass brackets, or make them hit the leaf spring. i think they came out alright, they will work, thats fo sure.

cant lay it flat due to shock hoops, and i want room for my fuel cell.

did some carburetor stuff. jb welded the bowl passage at the back of the carb shut and installed spring loaded needles and seats. works SO MUCH BETTER. went up and down this rock no issue, didnt even stumble, could rev it right up.havent had a chance to test side to side, but should work good enough.

i need thicker straps, and a real way to block off the return line fitting. carburetors just dump excess fuel into the motor, aint no return line here.
