Project: Hellride. A 1978 J-10

My phone makes me retarded. My mistake, someone delete or move?

had to move the exhaust around to make room for a traction bar. ended up moving the mufflers about 3 feet back and adding tailpipes as well. Quietest ive ever had it. Just needs some stupid header gaskets now. Will probably add some flex pipe and another hanger on each side. but it works for now.

Check the flanges when you pull the headers off.

Mine were warped before I even put them on.

I may have to take mine to a belt sander.

Copper gaskets are the best from what I've been told. I may end up doubling up on some felpros though.

while its annoying, i don't need perfectly sealed headers to get me to nac-fest. if i find myself with some time i'll go in there and do em'

I was almost tempted to ask what you were going to end up doing for a license plate mounting situation. Now that I see what your rear bumper looks like and how you mounted yours I'm glad I didn't bother

THe J-truck is looking badass!
