Project "girly" jeep

Looks sweet!!!

(this is a post to mark were i left off reading):D

got some more done today. its sittin on all 4 shoes, track bar is shortened and 30 is rebuilt using all the outers from the old lp 30.... looks great and it should sit down perfectly when the bumper and winch go on. Now before you ask i do plan on using the factory style inverted y but i will be replacing the tie rod with an upgraded piece.

looks awesome, its a good feeling to see it on all 4 tires

how did you determine the amount of separation at the axle & crossmember for the 3 link? i want to ditch the rustys craptastic long arms on my xj on tons & build a 3 link like yours.

make it up ;).... personally i have had great experiences with the axle separation at 7+ inches, as far as at the body mounts its really just what you can make fit. my last heep had 8 inches at the axle and like 3 at the body. this jeep has a little more at the body so i feel pretty good about how its characteristics will be. ive never put any of this thru a calculator, just looked at others stuff firsthand and seen what wporks and taken the best of whats out there and put it together

do you need to cut a slot in the floor to clear the upper bars travel swing?

Your neighbors must love the trailer in the yard with busted ass Jeep tub laying on it. lol

Seeing it on it's feet makes me want to go start throwing all the parts on my 93 I've been collecting!!!

Still looking for tires that I can't afford.

Lookin good!

Girly Jeep Looks Good! How was the first strech?

good in that even without a front end alignment it still drives like a stock jeep, bad in that the rear end in whining like a stuck pig. im 95 percent sure its a gear setup issue (i didnt set these axles up) so it looks like on sunday and monday i'll be pulling the rear apart and building my own 8.25 adjustment tool to reset the gears

got the rearend reset.... the screaming driveline is the lack of sye I believe.... a suspension height of 5.5 inches and a 1 inch trans lift is causing a 1/4 inch play in the slip of the driveshaft, so the sye is on its way as we speak. Other than that I got the fenders trimmed and new exhaust on...... it sounds burly ;) im running a thrush welded muffler on it

rear cut and fold painted up
