FYI if you guys are looking for some sweet prefab bracket Barnes 4wd has some really nice looking ones... i just ordered some today after searching for a awhile for what i needed. Looks like teardown is starting next week, ive got everything except for a short piece of 2.5x2.5 for the upper

FINALLY got a little bit of work done today. got the rear all tore out, felt good to say bye bye to the d35, had to call it quits because it was too late to run the sawzall and cut up the exhaust to fit the shackles.

got here and it was a little late for the neighbors to be hearing a screaming sawzall, gonna wrap up the rear and try to get the body trimmed out tomorrow, that leaves me all day on monday to set up the front three link

big update today... had a full day off and started the morning at 930am and shut the garage door at 1030 tonight. got a lot done, all thats left is a lot of finish welding and front axle assembly..... anyhow onto some photos
started this morning with the rear end
8.25 going in
rear suspension is the old waggy stuff, rustys 3.5 inch leaves with new bushings and 2" shackles
my ghetto Bar pin eliminators.... old rear swaybar brackets booger welded to the body
got it together and i had to put the wheels and tires on it
pimpin aint easy.....
started this morning with the rear end

got it turned around and said buh-bye to the low pinion turdy
for the record.... i hate cutting off lca mounts, they suck, all three layers of spot welded crap
new turdy.... hp with 4.56's
had to open up the holes on the lca mounts to run the big bolts for the 1.25" hiems
its a trailer! its a vise! its a drill press! its all three in one! :cheers:
drilling out the tb mount for a big bolt too
barnes 4wd link mount welded up and ready for placement

link brackets tacked up in their homes
tacked the links together and mocked everything up to see how it fits.... the upper isnt in yet but will get put together when the upper crossmember mount gets burned home.
blingin turdy.... very happy so far with how the suspension has come together

got a little bit more done this evening. pulled the crossmember and finish welded all the mounts, along with the links and the new axle mount. After some measuring it looks like ill have to shorten the track bar a fuzz, it was built for the waggy which had a wider track on the mounts. did mange to get it on its springs and im definantly going to have to modify the downpipe apparently the 2000 swings wider and directly in the path of my third link cut it up for now, ill fix it tomorrow.
