Project Geosynchronous Orbit

Look'n good C-dog!

Even if its not done, throw it on a trailer and haul it down for NACFest ... we'd all love to see it!!

Thanks Jordan.

Haha, I haven't given up just yet. I have all of next week off of work now (using some PTO along with the holiday) so I should be able to bang out a ton of stuff.

I'm heading to Home Depot for supplies in a few minutes, sorry I bailed due to weather yesterday, will drop your throttle body off with you if you're around.

Break-in setup.

Basically a party at our house today. Happened to be breaking in the 440 at the same time. My girlfriend took some video so here ya go.

mother of god that thing sounds awesome

Shut down the rest of naxja. Anything without a 440 just became irrelevant.

The alternator belt looks loose and your spark plug wire routing leaves a little to be desired.

Hack all the way. ;)

Cool shit.

If you're going to nitpick, I like the gas can fuel cell and the table mounted radiator. :gee:

I know I posted this already, but this thing is just plain awesome.

What is your plan for the hood?

What is your plan for the hood?

LOL... I was wondering the same thing... but I am sure Colin is still on a *Holy S#$%^&*T!!! it runs... and it sounds so awesome* high right now... I'll be surprised if it has a hood at all at NAC-Fest. As a matter of fact, he probably strapped that saw horse the radiator is mounted to to the front of the Jeep (and through the gas can in the pass side) and drove it around the block.

Damn, thanks for the compliments everyone!

 Niiice.

Yeah I'm surprised the belt even stayed on  I just kind of threw it on without giving a shit about tension. I'll pry bar it into place and set it better when I wire it up.

For reference its a '98 durango alternator (same style I had on the 4.0). Puts out 136A.

And yup. I hacked a few things just to get the thing broken in so I could get going on a lot of other shit.

:D Yup, gas can full of 93 octane and picnic table for the radiator haha.

For reference, the thing never got over 180* during break-in. Pretty insane.

 Yup still in that phase. In fact, here's another video I took after bleeding the rear radiator setup today. The sound never gets old :D

You'll also notice I threw the header panel on for shits and giggles. As for a hood? XXXX if I know. You're probably right, I might just show up to NACfest with no hood  AT this point the PS reservoir needs more room too.

P-pump from PSC replaces the old TC pump, and I have to move the orbital. No big deal, should have the steering setup all done tomorrow and since I didn't crack any brake lines, those will also work.

I have a small leak to weld up in one of the tubes, but overall the rear radiator setup is insane. With no thermostat in, I couldn't get the engine over 130*. I would have thought the thing would be up near 180* even without it. I'm going to fill the cooling system with coolant and rebleed it all with the thermostat again tomorrow.

Oh and I also have a small leak between the NV4500/NP241. Not the end of the world, but annoying to say the least. Just adding shit to the list...
