That sound never does, and that's why I'm calling dibs right now of following right behind you.
I'm sure once you get moving and using it it'll climb above the 130 mark. Wouldn't you want it to be a bit warmer? 130 sounds cold and you may have poor ignition/combustion/hesitation issues.
Haha sure you can follow behind me and make sure I don't die.
I don't have a thermostat in it right now, hence why it's running so cold and was cake to bleed. I'm putting a 180* milodon high flow stat ( they recommend it with my waterpump) in it tomorrow and rebleeding it with coolant.
Thanks for all the compliments guys, I appreciate it.
I have about a week and a half before NACfest. I'll have it there, but carbureted instead of fuel injection. I'm basically making a low buck truck avenger with the holley 770 my father has sitting on the shelf. Connected fuel bowl vents, spring loaded needle/seat, fuel vent screens, etc.
Here's my seat/harness mounts tied into the center console type bars. Only have two gauges ready for NACfest (oil pres/water temp). Basically the important ones.
Adj fuel pressure regulator. Have it down to 4.5-5 psi right now.
And just an underbelly shot now that all that stuff is buttoned up. I'm really happy with how the bellypan came out.
In the video (behind my father/brother making fun of me :laugh I was driving up/down the driveway to see how the electric fuel pump setup was working. It's a little lean on the top end, so I'm going to up the pressure a bit, and get the alternator hooked up before I start rejetting the carb. I was about 1/2 throttle into it.
You can also hear my tweaked-as-fawk bumpstop towers hitting my coils whenever the front end flops around.
