Project Geosynchronous Orbit

Sick driveway videos! Just kidding. Just kidding about being kidding, I love watching sick trucks drive slowly up driveways. Nah just kidding again. Seriously though, I'm just kidding, that video was great. Just kidding.

440.

Only issues I had were obviously the carburetor (you can start to hear it load up a bit when I'm at the top), my 241 range box seems to pop out of low, and my 205 (rarely) pops out of front drive. I have a leak which I think is between the 4500 and 241 so I have to rip them off anyway. When I do that, I'll take them apart and check out the shift forks/pads and gears. I didn't think they looked too bad when I had them all apart, but I know I didn't pay as much attention as I should have.

The 241 has me a little baffled though. When it slips out, the shift lever doesn't actually move. And when I go back to high range, the ranges are in different spots in the shift pattern than before. Almost bumped up a spot if that makes sense. Makes it seem like either the shift fork or gear is moving around.

Either way, NACfest was a blast. I'm basically catching up on little stuff this weekend, then starting on the fuel injection.

I need to upload my GoPro videos...

And I used a factory 97+ fuse box mounted at the rear of the cab. Worked mint. Just spliced into all the terminals with heat shrink/adhesive butt connectors. Used heat shrink/adhesive terminals everywhere. I decided to use the large Bosch style relays and the MAXI fuses. Easier for me to get my fat hands on them.

I'm headed back outside (have the day off) to fix my weld blob on my coolant lines with some rubber hose, drain the block/cooling system for a 180 thermostat and fill it back up with coolant.

I should have the fuel injection setup done in the upcoming weeks.
