Project Geosynchronous Orbit

Pulled off what I could and then welded/painted.

Sunday I'll drop it back down and fully weld/paint the rest of it, or as much as I can. Supposed to be real cold/windy.

Sweet! Way easier popping it up and off than trying to weld it all in place huh?

Dood I've only read to page 23, and so far it's all YAG (My 8 year old Daughter says that's how they pronounce it to get by in school- fvckin society).

Fvckin sick man. I've got this build saved in my tech archive for when I get a few too many Natty's in me and I wanna do some crazy shyte.

Kill, maim, destroy...

Yeah it was definitely easier. No way to do the roof nodes lol.

Thanks for the compliments dude. I started out having no idea what I was doing and not much has changed

So I did finish the whole thing last night including the bottom of the X behind the cab (they go through the bed floor and drop on the rockers), it just got too dark for me to take pictures by the time I was done.

The bottom of the B pillar and X behind the cab I could only weld 3/4 of the way around, so I think I'm going to add some gussets to those.

very superb

Cage looks XXXXing insane I'm now tempted to chop the top on mine and do somthin similer

Thanks guys.

Overall I'm very happy with it. A few things I would do differently next time, but like I said I've been winging this whole build since everything is my first time.

well do them differently on mine! :)

so when can I expect to see you at my place?

As soon as you can afford my rate.

In all honesty, you just have to start doing it. Order more tube than you think you need, because you'll probably screw the first one up before you get the hang of it (I know I did haha). I guarantee you'll get the hang of it no problem. It's not too bad, just a lot of work.

Buy a tube notcher. Definitely.

x2. when it was me and like 4 buddys all staring at it taking eachother's advice, i XXXXed up my a-pillar bars. when it was just me, thinking about it with an angle finder and that protractor thing, i made two perfect 100% identical d-pillar bars. then i did the rest of the bending mostly by myself.
