Project Geosynchronous Orbit

Your cage looks nice, but let's be honest. Once you put in a 440, it will not save you. Either way watching you race sometime this year will be sweet.

This thing is awesome! One of my favorite MJ builds. I will continue to follow this one.

Thanks dude. Believe me when I say it's going to start getting good now. :D

Stripped a ton of shit in preparation for the new drivetrain.

Figured I'd start with a pic of the lower X bars on the cage and where they meet up with the harness bar.

Pile of shit I removed.

The only thing left to finish on the 440 is to get the heads worked (my uncle is port/polishing them). So that should get wrapped up in the next 2-3 weeks.

Next weekend I'll get one of the other assembled/used 440s stuffed into the engine bay along with some block hugger headers to see what I have to work with.

Glad I got the first part outta there and to better use before you went crazy on that thing. Did you still want some of that large diameter tubing you talked about possibly using?

AWSOME! can i come watch? shits pretty epic

I see what you did there

Sure. Though no zoomies. I want to be able to breathe while I'm driving

Yeah that radiator wouldn't cool half of this engine haha.

Not sure about the DOM yet. I probably would like some of it, but I won't know until after this coming weekend.

run the coolant through the cage. heated cage dude. it would be amazing and melt all the snow off it in the winter.

Mocked up a 440 with heads/block hugger headers/ rear sump pan.

Fits WAY better than I thought it would. Mild firewall fixing on the passenger side for the valve cover, some hood clearance issues (cowl hood or big scoop) and some bellhousing fixing on the firewall. And I have to move my orbital mount (no big deal).

Angle to existing orbital mount. Probably move it to the inner fenderwell.

Pulley to winch.

And finally looking from the back. The Milodon rear sump I'm using will be a bit deeper than this.

Tomorrow I'll probably try to get the trans attached and t-cases to see what I have to work with.
