Project Geosynchronous Orbit

Added the lower windshield crossbar, and used some leftovers/screwups to make the spreaders.

dood, fix the side bars to they are parallel to the drip rails. :puke:
they look ghey all cockeyed now. :gee:

Something is bugging me about those windshield spreader bars. Are they upside down? Seems to me that having them wide at the top and narrow at the bottom would spread the load better on a rollover... but I haven't ever investigated this before. It looks like a big arrow... just write "This Side Up" on the bars and call it good.

I see what your saying andy. but Ive been doing some looking over at some KOH threads on Pirate and all of them have the narrow side up. Im assuming they know what there doing. so I guess it works that way.

Went to my uncles house on Saturday and we got started cleaning/assembling the short block.

Basically gave the whole thing a good cleaning, painted it (it was 60º out!) and installed the freeze plugs, oil galley plugs, cam bearings, main studs, and distributor bushing. Next Friday the short block should be all assembled.

Today got two roof bars done before I busted my arbor adapter on my notcher. It was starting to get dark by then anyway.

Going to be basically a + and an x. Probably overkill.
