Looking great!
When's the engine coming out?

Thanks dude.

As soon as the cab-back part of the cage is done. Hopefully by mid/late January.

Better be soon, I want his CSF 3 row so I can get mine running again :D

Tube is cool

Like I said, I should have the radiator for you by the end of January. You won't have touched your jeep until then anyway

4 cylinder from a honda t360. the 4.0 was too much for him...

Rhombi.

See how that works?

Yeah I thought it was Rhombi

Seriously. So far so good though. Had to work on my Dodge today, but I'll get back on the cage tomorrow.

I'm sure i missed it, but whats the plan on engine?

Haven't revealed it yet. I will once the engine gets built. Hopefully going to start on that soon with my uncle.

I thought he was swapping in a 1.6 out of a tracker into it, plus triple t-cases.

I'll leave you two to guessing. :D

Okay cat's out of the bag:

Engine:

'68 440ci big block
Forged .030" 9:1 pistons/rods
Steel-shot forged crank (10/10)
Edelbrock Performer RPM cam
Factory heads, ported, hardened valve seats, edelbrock springs/retainers.

Intake/exhaust, etc. will be figured out later.

Here's some pics of the block/crank/pistons. Tore the block apart to get it to the machine shop tomorrow with my uncle.

I'll be throwing a mockup block with heads/manifolds on it to check clearances and build mounts with.

Early blocks had those three mounting ears, later ones had a different style.

Why not an LS?

:moon:

I know. :laugh3:
440 is going to be awesome.

So there's sub $100 big block throttle bodies on ebay right now and I think I've found a way to get a programmable ecm and harness for less than $100...
