Project Geosynchronous Orbit

Welcome to the Maxxis club. Prepare to blow up drivetrain parts now. Thankfully those aren't stickie creepies, you'd blow stuff up real quick.
Colin knows how to properly install ujoints so he's ok

found a picture from when i owned it in pretty much the exact pose as the latest pic. thought it was a cool coincidence

While everyone was building, I was wheeling.

Broken MJ mains. 440 + 2500 rpm clutch dump + bound 40" creepies = unhappy leaf springs. Slapped some new ones in thanks to Billy and all is well again. I'll probably link the rear over the winter.

Removeable floor panels. I have another one for the center console in front of the switch panel, but I don't have t-case shifters yet so I haven't finished it off. I'll be finishing the rest of the floors probably over the winter.

I cut out/drilled/countersunk/tapped the adapter plates for the TBI on Sunday. Going back over a friends house to cut out the bores as well and then start mounting it all. I take some more pics as it progresses.

Is there a crap load of rust where it broke? It looks rusty at the broke point on both springs. Pretty sure there wasn't a long time before breaking your springs and you swapping them back out. Might want to keep an eye on that spot. Maybe they're getting cracked while wheeling. If that's the front bushings, those are the ones locating the axle and taking most of the force when you're bouncing around, mashing the gas and flying over boulders. I would recommend you wrap your new ones with pizza, it's pretty strong stuff.
