Project Geosynchronous Orbit

Hey what did you use for the lower bump stop in this picture? It looks like cutting board material. I searched online and couldn't find anything like it.

If you are talking about the black section he used Clayton lower coil buckets.
If you are talking about the white section that is just your typical UHMW round rod. Any plastic supply will have it or grab it at McMaster, MSC, Fastenal, etc.

Yup I kind of just laid the harness in the interior to make sure it ran.

Worked perfectly except for a loose ground and forgetting to put the coil wire back on haha.

Runs great too! Got the crossover of the exhaust tacked in. Gonna finish the back part this week and hopefully tidy up the harness this coming weekend.

That's a nice looking setup

Thanks!

Nice job!!!

Don't you have a whole week off soon to finish stuff up?

Thanks Jordan! Unfortunately not, I have a bunch of radio testing for the next few weeks leading up to NACfest, so not only will I be busy at home but also at work :(.

I didn't have enough exhaust tubing to continue on the exhaust last night, so I started upgrading the wiring in the engine bay. Basically just cleaning some stuff up with wire loom/electrical tape, as well as running the 1ga to all the engine accessories.

The cable coming in the from the bottom left is from the battery, and the one going over the header panel is for the starter that I haven't finished yet.

Final steering plumbing. Fixed the dip in the feed line with a 30º fitting on the pump, and got a 120º for the hydroboost return.

Exhaust done minus complete welding and two rear mounts I need to build. I have about 2 hours and <$100 into it so far.

This weekend I'm going to finish the exhaust, hopefully get the dash back in, and plumb the brakes. Then during the following week I'll try to build the seat mounts as well as the gearbanger (shifter) and then I can take it on a break-in run assuming nothing explodes driving around my yard

Look at those mandrel bends....
