Project Geosynchronous Orbit

I've got an even stronger feeling that you're wrong and I'm right. See ya there!!

either way, this thing is coming along fairly quickly/smoothly for such a big build.

GSDDDD!!!!!

Thanks Ryan. For the most part I've gotten lucky on a bunch of things.

I should have the clutch setup finished up tonight and all bled. The white plastic bushing on the pedal rod is cracked, but I think it will be ok since it is under compression.

I might try to work out the exhaust this weekend and start on the brakes if I have the time. Or maybe bolt in the column and start on the steering. I'm not sure yet

Which part is it?

don't worry about that crap. Mine is held to the pedal with mechanics wire, works mint :gee:

I think it's 9.

I'm probably missing one or two out of 9-13

We don't got that one! It's P/N: J4007472.

Don't worry about 10-12, they're just washers. 13 is the pin.

The dealer might have it. I have no clue. That's the part number for it though.

Finished off the slave cylinder mount with a heat shield as well as a bracket for the return spring.

Then welded up an orbital mount as well as a PS reservoir mount. Then I started running lines. Basically, it goes reservoir-pump-hydroboost in-hydroboost out-orbital-cooler-reservoir. Hydroboost return will go straight to the reservoir, I just haven't run the returns yet.

Pics are deceiving but the reservoir outlet sits inline with the pump, maybe a 1/16" higher.

Also ran the ram lines down with plenty of line left for suspension travel. I'll figure out a neat way to route them later this afternoon.

And finally had some time to make some radiator mounts.

Forgot to upload these pics yesterday. Whipped up some shock mounts Tuesday night after work. Here's the passenger side.

Gonna add a brace between them above the LCA bolt and below the shock bolt.

I have tomorrow off of work so I'm going to try to have the engine running by the end of the weekend. I just need to route the downpipe for the exhaust, finish plumbing the steering, and drop in the wiring. I'm not going to have the dash in or anything, I just want to make sure it runs before I go any further.

With NACfest just about a month away I'm starting to feel the pressure

Looks good Colin. How are you mounting the 7100s up top? Whipping up some kind of beefy mount or using some sort of adapter like the JKS or synergy?
