Yea wheels really set off I think. May look into a set of air locks for it down the road to keep these rims. Slowly getting it back to a driver.

PS - i want your body panels. i am having a bich of a time finding a parts jeep (thats not in deplorable condition) with our paint code to steel body parts from.

Looks like I'm roughly around the 102" wheel base. It's currently sitting at about 74-75" to the drip rails. Seems about good height.
Walt if you find one in the dark blue let me know. If tagged about every corner on the jeep. Everything around here is not worth what they are asking.
Ok serious question, what's everybody's thoughts on mini spools? Was planning on putting a full spool in the 9" but just found a 31 spline center section with 5.13 gears and a mini spool all ready to go for $150 up in Michigan. That seems like a decent deal considering it's ready to drop in and go. Any thoughts on running this center section.

My mini spool ended up in a thousand pieces, along with destroying my gears and third member.

It's actually the exact ratio I was gonna have installed. Currently already have 5.13 gears sitting on shelf to go into the 9". With not a whole lot of extra funds being granted for this build anymore I have to watch what I spend it on but figured this would be a good way to easily/cheaply get it finished

I ran a mini spool in a 9" for a long time, I used a hardened cross pin when I did it. Ran 37" boggers w no issues. But that might have been because of the badass paint job on the beadlocks.

Did you leave the nuts and bolts in from the factory Panhard mount? They're needed to hold all the layers together. I'd recommend plating the bottom as well.

They are still in there just not threaded down. Just put them in there so I wouldn't lose them. Will tighten them down.
Plan is to head to Michigan on Sunday to pick up the geared and locked 3rd member. Also found a new lunchbox locker and 5.13 gears for the front as well. Nice thing is they are on the way to where the 3rd member is. Might pick them up along the way.
