PROJECT FLIP FLOP SUPER SWAP

Took it through carwash today at lunch to get all the grinding dust and sparycan settling dust off the rig....needs a little more seam sealer up top. Looks damn good now.

Seam sealer worked awesome on mine for a while, but the roof had just enough movement to crack it and leak a little bit. I'm going to put some silicone over the seam sealer since that is a little more flexible.

If you have any overspray on the paint that didn't come off in the carwash, pick up a clay bar, it will pull the overspray right off of it.

Yea after you told me about yours leaking I used two sandwhich plates at every penetration (I said penetration), pretty sure the water is coming in around the bolts....I figured sealing around the plates would be good enough.....

I have had no fewer than 8 people come up to me at work asking about the cage, the red definetly grabs the eye.

I used red RTV on the ugly trucks sunroof gasket. it's the only thing that stayed flexible and adhered. It still doesn't leak and I did that 8 years ago.

Gov't pays me to wheel......

winning.

I can vouch for the no leaking.... And i heard the body twist so bad last month i thought the back window was going to fall out

Well the rear seat is too close to cage for an adult to sit in the back so I did this today.

Now there is a ton of knee room and I still have 24" behind the rear seats for wheeling gear. I can remove the seats in two minutes the way I have them mounted for when I have to carry bigger stuff.

Sure can but the stupid sound bar is there so you really have to tilt them. I have a way to get the head liner up another inch or so.
