Project FLEXpedition

Aaron: We just picked up a cheap set of LED lights from Harbor Freight until I got around to turning the stock ones into LED like you were talking about doing. This would be a 15 min job and have you road ready.......

We have 33 x 9.50 tires on ours. I just made spacers to move the fenders out and up.

I have been trying to snag a front casting from one of these .
So I can have a sprung ,rotating lunette for my expo trailer .

Anyway I found this page you may have interest in
http://www.midwestmilitary.net/trailerparts.html

They even sell a resistor box to run your 6v trailer on a 12v truck .

Moving the fenders up is also an option John. MIght see if my cousin can take it to work, since he works .1 mile from my house and move them up. I'm buying a set of LED oval lights to mount on the back. I'm guessing since it has reflectors i don't need to do side markers.

Where did you get the Tarp from, John?

The tarp is a long story...Short one is...I found a guy in the Canadian military ( they still use a model like the m-416) he just happens to have then for sale from time to time NIB.....:) I will dig up the info and hit you up on the back channel......

Thanks John!

Got the lights mounted up, which one you think I'll smash first? :D

Probably gonna get a couple pieces of sheet metal and drill a couple holes in them to raise the lights up.

this is going to be a nice trailer

That's what I'm shooting for Dan. I'm just happy I still get 18 towing it. Might get less coming home from KY with a Load of creek rock for an RC crawler course! :D

Spring it over, put a real hitch on it. Throw a tailgate in that sucker too.

It's just a trailer.

You quiet down! Probably gonna raise the fenders to clear tires rather than deal with shock mounts.....Hell I still need to do those on the Jeep....

I will send you pics of how I'm doing my shock mounts. If you do it right, at the same time you spring it over there is no extra work or cost involved.

Right on, I'm not against doing it I just don't want to deal with it right now.
