Project Downward Spiral

Tire clearance.
Unfortunately with the backspacing on the H1s and the width of the PitBulls I am forced to put them under otherwise the rod end will make contact with the tire.

lame....

It is what is is though

Are you runing them stock? Your rear is 4 linked IIRC so interfering with the leafs is not an issue. I had to recenter mine to clear the rear.
Yup, 100% stock minus the rock rings. If I could go back I'd spring the extra cash and get some 17" wheels. Better tire selection and I'd have better backspacing options. It isn't worth it at this point to recenter the H1s.
Yes, you recalled correct.

Exactly.
It was one of those things I wasn't planning on until I did some fitting.

I know it's way after the fact but, fwiw theres a guy on pirate sellin inserts for 40 each. :)
Yeah, centers are cheap. It is the fact that I've got everything to work with them already and that the max backspacing I could get on a recentered one would be 4.5". That would extend my width ~5.5". I'd rather not do that.

so youll be on your roof while i stay upright 90" FTW!

holy crap it runs again!

SWEET! I agree on the H1's If I had the cash I would have gone with 17's too.

Well ran into a snag with a leaky fuel fitting so I ordered up another one (plus a spare this time). While I was at it I also ordered a pair of Earl's Performance Shut-Off Valves.
This will it allow me to shut off the the fuel from the system in event I need to (hopefully never again). It is kinda hard to work on the system when fuel continues to flow from the cell.

Aside from that I started working on the brakes tonight. In the rear I'm going to run down the UCAs then to the calipers. Originally I was going to use Chris's (vetteboy) idea and run down the LCA and jump right to the caliper but I run into a wheel interference problem that way.
Up front I'm going to run down the panhard bar. Kinda unconventional, but I don't see why I can't. I was going to run it down the UCA but there is no good way to get the line to the frame side joint with it being tucked up at the passanger's feet.
