Project "Constructive Deconstruction"

Re: Project "Something Awesome"

I think drinking is the ultimate test of one's athleticism...

Even after enduring the 2-a-days in high school football and wrestling. And I've played a little hockey, it requires a lot of conditioning. Wrestling was an all out brawl for 6 minutes. Football was play for 15 seconds, rest for 20...for 2 hours.

I just know that as an adult, it matters not what I can bench press, but how much booze I can handle.

A real man trades his bounder for a 3 place gooseneck, then buys a sweet diesel tow rig and come to lake city then reed city, then attica!

there is some truth to this first statement. when i was bigger (40lbs bigger) i drank a lot more. seemed it was less invasive to the body. but that might just be because the body was more efficient at buffering stuff out. then again, being a cheap date isnt a bad thing.

fun story, floated down the manistee river this summer with a gallon jug of jungle juice. it disappeared between 3 people. buddy supposedly knew very well where we were putting in at, and getting out. supposed to be a 4 hour float. 6 HOURS later i start to recognize where we are and... we have got to be another 4 hours away. and itll be dark in an hour. got off at the bank... RAN to the upstream parking spot (because of the way the river bent, it was closer), and on the drive back to get the tubes, it was a fricken 5 mile run... barefoot. never again will i trust someone from manton.
I'll take that challenge. if I lose, I won't care because I'll be drunk
if you lose, your still winning.

true statement. but you got to remember, that puts us out of your "real man" area.

I'm sure he could drink you under the table on the ice too.
why do you think they called adult league busch league or beer league... what do you think was in the water bottle.

not a fan of drinking on the ice, not even ice fishing. thats just a dumb sport.

few shots before walking to the deer stand is kind of fun though. "safety harness? check."

Re: Project "Something Awesome"

been on a (an attempted) selling binge lately to try and pick up some 35s. i think ill be happier (in the long run, lol) if i pass. one good thing though,

i think i finally got rid of my D30 housing. trading for a new ZJ tie rod. decent deal IMO. ive got a whole other set of steering, and i got a lifetime warranty on all of my TREs when i replaced them. im going to take my stock TREs in tomorrow and see if i can swindle spares. so it looks like i may have a COMPLETELY new set of spare steering, as well as a 3rd tie rod. do i need it? no... but good to have spares. lol.

also, got to pull the shafts from my old 8.25 for spares, and possibly start a disk upgrade. fun, fun.

JY tomorrow after if i get up early enough, after before the pasts store to see if i can pick up a front drive shaft, i want to do a SYE before going to R&V this weekend with Kman. i think the price went up since i looked last, which was early in the summer. im undecided on if i want to do the U-joints or not, last time i accidentally lost needles in the centering ball. that was a $50 mistake.

hunting tomorrow... morning and evening as well. busy day. lol.

happy thanksgiving.

went with Kman, was a good time. not many pictures. but the rockers did great.

a couple notes, tire carrier need to be higher:

bumper corners need to be tapered up (larger tires would help too) and relocate license plate:

aside from size, i was actually pretty impressed with the MTRs. despite the fact that they are worn down pretty good.
