Project Anti bling, the carnage begins

There are a bunch of good trails in the area that require at least 35" tires and a locker. My buddy has an xj with a TNT longarm kit and a detroit in the rear and he got denied on this trail.

here are some pictures of a trail run we had yesterday.

Nice MJ!, I just got an Mj and am planning to lose the bed for a custom flat bed. Do you guys think that it possible to get too light in the rear and lose some of your traction?

very easily, yes. it works well on climbs though, since the weight shifts to the rear leaving about equal weight and traction on all 4 tires.

The main problem I have with the rear is that to get a rear spring pack soft enough to flex with so little weight means it's not nearly stiff enough to resist axle wrap. That's one of the main reasons I'm linking the rear of mine soon.

Thanks for the complement hacked xj, your orange xj just so happens to be my favorite XJ EVER!
yup, what brett said. Being so light in the rear makes axle wrap a HUGE issue. I am adding about 200 lbs in diamond plate, so that should help. I am also going to build a track bar to help with wrap. I want to try and keep it light to resist breakage :D
