91to99 NAXJA Forum User Location utah Dec 12, 2011 #1 1996 F-Super Duty 2wd 7.3 diesel of course This lovely little thing is leaking fuel. Any ideas on what it is? The sensor thing in between the wire harness with the one wire/plug in it. Its leaking from the wire/plug connection.

C cemeyer NAXJA Forum User Location CO Dec 13, 2011 #2 I believe that is the sensor for the fuel filter light. It senses restriction.
K Keithmania NAXJA Forum User Location Zanesville, OH USA Dec 15, 2011 #3 The diesel probably just ate through the sensor. Have had it happen on an oil sensor as well. Just unscrew the old one and replace it with a new one. Takes less than 5 mins.
