I have a stock remaned unit from autozone and running 33s no problems with steering. The pump works great and they have a lifetime warranty which I have used as the housing cracked while out wheeling. I think it was my fault though because I did this exact thing once before after putting on a new header and when reinstalling the pump I think I over tightened both the mounting bolts and the belt and over stressed the aluminum housing. So moral of the story don't overtighten things and you will be fine. Get the pump without the pulley or reservoir, its cheaper and you can just take your old pump with you and swap both the pulley and reservoir out to the new one there at the store with their tools.
