NP231 SYE kit w/ drive shaft (front D/S as rear setup), $150. Works flawlessly with my 4.5" setup. I need your stock parts in exchange. Swap it out in my driveway. Need to sell ASAP, let me know!

Why not swap whole T-cases, or is that what you are actually talking about?

I guess we could do that too. I just thought it to be easier to do the shaft inside the T-case. Either way.

I would like to take you up on that offer It would be faster to swap t-cases.Is this all behind an aw-4?

I also have stock control arms for my 95 if you need them

=) what about a direct swap no cash exchange since its an asap sorta deal... you need the stock step-up and im sure someone else needs a sye... fair trade right?

Heh, have fun with that. I tried pulling the T-case off in my wrangler and finally gave up and just cracked it open instead. And the wrangler had a 2" body lift to get up in there with a wrench too.

Personally, I think it would be heaps heasier to just crack the cases, swap the mainshafts, reassemble....but again, that's just one man's opinion.

And I can't help that weekend...my pop's birthday is the 28th and I'm moving on the 1st. But if ya don't get it done and require some assistance the following weekend, I'd be happy to lend a hand.

He dosent NEED the stock setup he NEEDS to recoup a little money form his investment

I thought you were going to KOH

I would be interested. I will send you a PM with my # to talk

anyone think that running a front diff in the rear has a signifigant value/performance difference over getting a new rear shaft?

Just cost really. You can pick up a used front shaft for probably under $100. It will likely cost you 3x that to have one made from scratch. Now, if the stock shaft isn't long enough and has to be extended....then you pretty much eat up the money you save

in what conditions would the front shaft be too short? something lifted over 4.5"

I have the 4.5 RE springs, no shakles, Chrysler rear . . i have to take this thing on a 4000 mile road trip in 2 weeks and want to ensure that it will be good for the trip.

Mike, that comment wasn't directed to you, sorry I didn't mean to come off rude.

BTW Rockitch is way worse than Jockitch as there is no known cure, except poverty and I'm on the way.

I have been through EVERY trail in Big Bear, most of Death Valley, and a few other places on the 4.5" with the SYE and front > rear drive shaft setup. It has given me zero problems.

At this price, not only is the SYE discounted, but the drive shaft is free. I need to get this done this week if possible. Please let me know.

It took under 2 hours to install the SYE, so I wouldn't think it to be that hard keeping the T-case in the car. If you really want the extra work of removing and installing 2 cases, be my guest. I'll watch and hand you beers and pizza. :roflmao:

Let me know ASAP! Thanks!

Dude
I've Posted , PM'd tried to set up a time to do this and now your setting up a deal with someone else!

LAMULA...

Your last message was on 2/22. I replied to it, and you have not replied back! So I'm not sure what you expected me to do?!

I need this money for rent on the 1st, or as close to that as possible. I can not afford to wait 3 days at a time for people to message me back or I will not be able to make my rent.

If you want it...call me! I still have it, and money talks. Thanks!

Well when I installed my RE 4.5" coils and 4.5" leaves, which netted almost 5.5" of lift, I had about 0.5" of extension left in my slipshaft. It was more than fine for street driving, but knowing that I was also going to be adding spacers and shackles, I didn't want to find out I needed more extension the hard way at the wrong time. =)

This kit is broken in, so it certainly won't sit that high (been on for 13 mos and 6k miles). I've been fully crossed-up on it plenty of times and never had any issues with the D/S.
