I clicked because of camping although i must point out that i was waiting to become a member during the march membership drive BUT the free camping pushed me into it.

Was going to renew anyway in March for the membership drive, camping was a perk to do it early.

Me too, I really wanted to go last year but just could not get the trailer straightend out in time, the one I had lined up to borrow had no brakes and was iffy to start with, just felt it was safer to just wait for the next one than chance it

Only thing I'll add is that the numbers for the membership drive will probably be lower this year since a lot of people are getting in before Feb 14th. Sure free camping may not be the primary reason but no doubt it's a factor in getting people to sign on or renew earlier.

Just pointing it out so nobody is surprised if not many people renew or sign up in March.

Mine expires in February so I seem to miss the membership drive every year, but I'm happy to support this place whether I'm eligible to win anything or not. :cheers:

Good point. I tried it once a few years back and I believe the second payment got refunded, membership thought it was in error since the two renewals were so close together. I'll try again this year and explain my reasoning when I renew the second time.
