I never get an alert telling me that i have a PM. yes i do have it selected. But whats worse is i only ever find out that i have one if i look at the mail count. Cuz it doen't even say i have unread mail Just wondering if i am the only one havin such diffiuculties

Works properly here with IE6.
a pop-up blocker can create problems with the PM pop up notification. You may also have a cookie problem.

I never get notification either. I just check every day to see if I have any.

the notification pop up is JavaScript. It also relies on cookies.
Unfortunately, that is not on this end of things.
Corrupt cookies, strict security settings in your browser, etc.... can cause the notifications not to work.
