Please Identify

I had to replace the passenger’s side smoker’s window and found this cable thingy laying inside the bottom of the door. The white plastic piece is a slip on panel clip to door bottom. I can't tell what the other end is connected to and the open end looks like it was broke off??? See links to pics. Thanks for any help guys.

That's the window regulator cable and sheath. The cable that forces the window up/down is just visible in the end.

x2 window drive cable sheath. IIRC, it is supposed to look like that and simply guides the window cable as it goes up and down.

Yea I just put one in a customers xj last week. These regulators are weird but thats how it's supposed to be
