please criitique my cage.......

howwwly crap. i was in the mood to talk about cages and i guess i didn't notice the date. <sorry> well, mabye this can help someone else. hell yes those top tie in's are worth it. it keeps the top aligned at factory-designed load bearing points. a lot easier to re-align doors, etc. after a rollover. the "leg protectors" can also go through the floor at an angle to tie in to lca body brackets. padding should be over the whole thing. trust me on that.
hope this helps!

trust you on what?

Just curious. Have you built a cage? Does your Jeep have a cage? Are pool noodles AKC approved?

Do you guys realize the thread you are answering is almost a year old??

listen, dude. i don't know why you have it out for me, but this is getting old. yes i put a modified EOR cage in my xj. i have rolled it twice, each time the sheetmetal pulled back out, and the doors seal ok. not perfect, but ok. does that seem like pool noodles to you?and you can trust me that pool noodles, spagettii noodles, ramen noodles, or any other noodles should not be used as a substitute for proper rollbar padding, or your noodle will be (in a rollover, that is). the padding makes it harder for limbs and extremities to wrap themselves around stuff, and it's much easier on everything else. keep in mind that stuff flails around in a rollover.
