plasma and welder

Looking into getting a plasma and welder for Christmas. Thinking Millermatic 211 and Hypertherm Powermax 45. Any thoughts?

From reading, the Millermatic 211 is a couple hundred more than the Hobart Handler but offers infinite adjustment. Seems some people don't mind it while others have a strong preference.

You will be estatic with both those machines....

Millers are great machines. I've not welded with a 211, but used a number of others.

I have cut with the powermax 45, works great.

I own a miller 211 and I love it...it is a few years old so not the newer style, but overall I couldn't be happier for what I use it for.

Agreed, the Millermatic 211 is a great machine. I don't see myself buying another welder for my needs.
