I will be making a trip from Denver to Moab and would like to do a few trails along the way. What are a few good summer trails.
My Cherokee has a 5" shortarm lift with 32" bfg all terrains 3.55 gears and open at this point. I may lock the front before the trip. I have rocker protection as well as gas and t-case skids (factory).
It will be me my wife, 2 kids, and a lab.
Not wanting to break anything just a good challange and lots of great views.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

Looking for more of a personal referance.
What trails would you do?
I will be trailering my jeep from Houston Tx. to Denver where I will stay with a freind for a night then heading to Moab.I want to do a trail or two that will leave a good impression of the land. Not a trail that will kill my trip to Moab but not just a fire road either.

What way ya going from Denver to Moab?

If your gonna be near the San Juans.......
ANY trail there would be GREAT!!!
Heres a link to the major trails there..........

All of them are easy and can be done in a stock 4x4 with the exception of Poughkeepsie Gulch.

One I would recommend would be from hwy 550 over Black Bear and then back to hwy 550 over Imogene Pass.
(ALL day ride with stops for lunch and pics.)

I got LOTS of pics of the area, but this is one of my favorite's.....
west side of Imogene Pass...

You WILL end up wanting to stay a few days though.
VERY beautiful area!!!
