now i reallly like this picture! props dude!

Seeing this makes me want a real camera. The 100 dollar digital cannon just doesn't cut it compared to some of these pictures.

i shoot with a D90, got it with the 18-105 lense. my fav is the 50mm 1.8 and i got the older 70-300. sb600 flash and im setting aside omney for some alien bees lighting. i got some great long exposure shots from Naval Training Command Great Lakes. Ill post em up once i get back into port

Rocking a Canon 5D MK1 with L glass and a 20D for a back up.

Awesome shot! which Powershot?

Powershot SD1100IS. Better to spend money on gas and on a capable 4x4 to get you to special light conditions than on the most expensive camera.

but done right some times that camera helps pay for more jeep parts

Funny, in my world it's the opposite. I've built my 4X4 to get me to the places I want to use expensive cameras at.

I guess it's all a matter of what your bigger hobby is. It used to be that going out in the Jeep was all about the experience with the Jeep. Now the Jeep is just a means to an end to get me out where I can take photos.

Here are a few of the stunting pictures i've taken. all are on a Nikon D50 using with 50mm f/1.8 lens or 18-55mm Nikkor. I also use a hotshoe SB-24 flash. I've got some cooler ones, but they're on my personal laptop at home.

and yes, i know some of them aren't tack sharp. That's a damn good reason you shouldn't put your camera on manual focus after drinking a few.
