I know this is totally off-topic so sounds like a good place to put this

I am currently shopping for a new phone and have read so many d@mn reviews my eyes hurt so i was wanting to see if I could get any straight to the point pros and cons about your phone or one you had

thanks

BlackBerry8800 here. I have no problems with it at all. The only thing that I'd like to see would be a camera, but that's not what a phone is all about for me.

blackberry curve 8310

at&t has it on sale now for $99...but the phone has far more features than i'll ever need, but it is pretty sweet to have a full keyboard and all...

unlike the 8800 mentioned above, the 8310 has a 2.0 megapixel camera with a 5x zoom and flash. i have free applications from espn, google maps, and wikipedia. the 8310 does come with internal gps, but the program charges a monthly fee (so i went with google maps for free).

also, it comes with a microSD slot for extra storage. i picked up a 2gig card for 20 bucks and have nearly 400 songs on the thing. it comes with headphones that double as a hands-free device, and all the data transfer and charging cables you'll need

as long as you get an unlimited data plan through your provider, this phone is SWEET. that covers all internet access, text messaging, and email.

absolutley no complaints...i'd recommend the thing to anyone

the kiosk guy talked me out of the pearl...he said the camera sucked and the keyboard was just weird

Edit: ...so that's why i have the curve...

but to each their own i suppose

my sister has a touch screen...and while she loved it at first, she says it gets a little annoying that she has to lock her screen everytime she puts it in a bag or her pocket (so it doesnt get bumped and call someone or go into other programs)...but i guess if you have a case or clip it wouldn't be a problem

plus, after about a year, the screen is showing wear from the stylus

just some things to think about...

I have a Pearl. The camera is surprisingly better than other camera phones I've had.

And the keyboard takes about one day to get used to. After that, it's not an issue. I can type pretty fast with the Auto Spell feature.

i have the new Palm Centro ...

love it ... only this is... but i think it runs with all of them ...
the buttons are kinda small and close together ...

other then that i love it

I have a T-Mobile Dash / HTC Excalibur. Best phone I have ever had, but Windows Mobile isn't as user friendly as most other phones out there.
