Parts Price difference Cherokee vs Grand Cherokee

Was comparing prices on parts yesterday for a Cherokee vs a Grand Cherokee, in almost all instances for like parts the parts for the Grand cost more. For example 4.0 engine in both, alternator. Cherokee approximately $130.00, the Grand $170.00 Why the big difference, anyone know?

The grand had a bigger alternator, a fairly common swap
