"Parting Party" 98 XJ

Final parts up for grabs!

This Thursday our plan is to remove both axles from the unibody (axles, wheels and tires and being kept by owner). The front and rear springs are available, there was about a 5" lift on this XJ.

We have removed the engine and trans so they are ready to go and there is body parts undamaged by the roll that are available. There is no rust anywhere on this vehicle.

Once the axles are out were looking to get rid of the "carcass" ASAP.

If you have ever wanted a rust free XJ unibody to make a buggy here is your opportunity.

Fred if you dont have a taker for the whole carcas I need as much of the passenger side floor pan as possible.

Sorry that's "Final Call for any Parts"

We've taken off everything we could. Some good parts still available. What I can think of is:

Front Coil springs 4" lift.
Rear leaf packs, 4" lift
Rear shackle lifts, 1"
Both front seats
Engine and Auto Trans
Misc. interior parts
some body parts

What doesn't go will be sent out as scrap.

Let us know if you want any part or it will be gone.

I need the electrical conector to the mode switch on the transfercase, 2 pin oval conector if you still have it.
 
so no one needs AC parts? they're all in pretty good condition and didn't leak at all. interior parts? heck i'll probably give 'em to ya, free to a good home! no one needs a good tilt steering column? dashboard? what about that clock spring thing i've heard about in the 97+s? hate to see good parts go to scrap but i don't have a place to store all this lol
 
WHen can I get the passenger floor plan?

Also are the front door strikers still there (the part on the door pillar)?

just remembered:
the LCAs measured 16.25" eye to eye, and the bushings wernt in the greatest shape so $20 gets them

also reminder

good running engine- $150
good running trans- $150
alternator- $20
misc interior parts- FREE
door panels- $10
theres also the tilt steering column, dash board, etc
rear bumper- $20 and has high lift mounts on it
and i believe it has a pair of nut strips off it- $10
4" lift rear leaf springs of unknown brand- $150
4" lift coils unknown brand- $60
gas tank and fuel pump stuff


and the unibody is now open to be cut out if you need a floor pan or something.

rest of the dash was taken apart today to get to the AC stuff behind it. have all the high pressure lines from the engine bay and the condenser, all in good working order ready to go.

not much left to take out, some interior panels and stuff still in there but thats about it! gonna be sent off to scrap this thursday so any parts still attached to the body will need to be removed ASAP if you want them.
 
Going, Going......Gone

We said good bye to the 98 Xj this evening. The last of the shell was cut up and set off as scrap.

We still have the engine and trans that can be purchasd if you act quick.

Hard to believe that this was a new shinny Cherokee sitting in a new car lot just a few years ago.
