OK I have been waiting till I actually do some sort of upgrades to my rig but with the bad weather and busy schedule I have not had a chance. So instead here is a picture of my rig and some of my plans.

Hope to get the following done before summer so I can start wheelin/camping:
4.5 inch RE lift (thanks Blondjon)
242 SYE (just have to swap T-cases)
Cut and fold fenders and lower rear quarter panel.
Plan to run 33's (I have always been a bfg guy but thinking about trying some Goodyear MTR's with kevlar)
AJ or JCR sliders

The rest will come over time:
Ford 8.8 rear with 4.10s and LS
Hope to find a stock front D30 with 4.10s and eventually upgrade to an ARB locker
AJ rear bumper with Tire carrier
Front bumper (not sure on type yet)

Would like to be able to tow a small boat and a small camping trailer

Thanks for any input you might have.

Mike

the cool thing about the LS 8.8 4.10 is that you can get the entire axle for like 150-300, same goes for a 4cyl 4.10 front. and buy a used or new lunchbox. its a cheap setup. of course if i come accross some cheap geared and locked axles ill hook him up.

Got the lift on and T-case in. I'll try and get some pictures up soon.

Now I just gotta find some used 31's to run until I'm ready to do gears and bump up to 33's

There's a nice set of Bridgestone REVO2's that I posted a link to in the craigslist thread.

Wheel weights on the outside of the rim will not last long on a trail . . .

I don't like the look of the cheep black rims but the new tires make your rig look so much better. Congrats!

Now get out and wheel it, you will be shocked where it can take you.

I was not happy about the wheel weights. They are going back soon to be fixed.

Got the front end aligned last night and took her and the family out to Carnagie today.

Carnagie doesn't have much but it was cool for an hour or so and let us test out the rig. Climbed both stair steps with out much problem. Let the wife drive it now I can't get it back.

Now I have a good idea on how much more fender trimming is needed. Looks like I need to get some bump stops too.

looks good man.

there ya go!! i dig the "cheap" black wheel!! lol

looks good man!

i like the rims and tires! lookin good...

Haven't logged on for a while. Got a little done since the last time I posted. Sliders, warn bumper (cheap fix to no tow points).

I have a D44 with 4.10s, chromes and an arg sitting in the garage. My plan for now is to re-gear the D30 and slap in the d44 and ARB and continue wheeling. My only down fall right now is I need to disconnect the abs to do all this.

Here is a picture from last weekend at Niagara rim With blondjon and his rig
