Oregon Trophy Challenge - 2013

It's back.

Registration has been out for awhile, but I didn't see it posted here. Looks like five teams are already registered (three of which are from one club). TORX will be entertaining offers for potential teams to join.

September 21st and 22nd 2013​

Test your off-road skills in a competitive off-road event this summer. This 2 day team event will challenge you and your vehicle for the unknown. You and your teammates must be prepared for a long day and a long night, with a variety of tasks not limited to just driving. Your team will be expected to read a map, compass, and GPS, drive a trials section, winch, and do any tasks that we throw at you along the way. The top teams will face off Sunday morning to decide which team will take home the trophy.

What is a team? A team shall consist of two vehicles and 4 people. The event will be limited to 30 teams.

Vehicle requirements

• Street legal and licensed
• Proof of liability insurance
• Oregon OHV permit
• Hard tops or roll bars
• Tow points front and rear
• Seatbelts
• Working fire extinguisher, shovel, first aid kit
• Winch
• Working headlamps, tail/brake lights
• Vehicle must be no wider than 84"

There will be a safety inspection before vehicles are allowed on the course.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Friday: Check in and tech inspection in Brown’s Camp day use area between 7-9pm.
Saturday: Check in and tech inspection 7-8am. Teams will begin departing at 8am. Departure times will be determined by a random selection process. Late entries will leave last. That evening around 9pm the night run will begin.
Sunday: The top 4 teams will have a run off. Lunch will be available and a raffle will be held while the final scores are tallied. Everything should be wrapped up by 2 or 3pm.
