ok, lets talk about money

lets see.

96 xj=3995 killer deal with everything perfect.
tires=1100
lift=1000
sye and other mis. parts=1000
Being able to run over hondas= priceless.
jk like 7100 almost with jeep.

Including purchase price of 1k....$40,000 give or take a tank of gas...and ya know..looking at that, I'm kinda feeling sick too. :pig: heh..ah hell..ya gotta spend it on something, and a jeep doesn't make you put the lid seat down when you're done.... :gag:
Guess I should say, the only thing that won't have changed since I got it a year ago, will be the TC and the tranny, and the body, if you don't count dents.
Engine, bumpers, (front bumper 2x) upgrade to 60's, lift redone, to RE 5.5 or so, steering stuff (LCA's/UCA's 2x, going to long arm kit), track bar, radiator, tranny cooler, shocks, springs on front (2x), tires (2x), rims (going to 35's and beads), Tom Woods driveshaft/SYE (going to another type..I like Tom, just going a different direction..prolly toward banruptcy :P), Warn 9500 winch, (yay, I get a pair of gloves!), internal cage, chassis stiffeners (jeep viagra, I gather), fuel pump, battery (2x), 3 damned overflow bottles, and the usual stuff like new belts, hoses, flares and the like. Borla header, exhaust system redone..and um, forty-eleven ujoints, thank you, 4dyce :P But hell, I got two t-shirts out of the deal, so I'm not bitchin'.

89' 2DR $800
Nearly new 30's $200
stuff $382

total $1382
and its not inspected and tagged yet!
I plan on another $2000 to have a competant trail rig.

As far as size? I am building this so I dont have to beat on the 02' dakota ($25,000) any more.

I would be broke if the wife didnt try to keep me in check....

by the time you factor in duty and shipping from the states across the border, and the markup if you get someone else to order it for you, it comes out to roughly double.

Yeah too much.

'89 Junk 8 years ago, $10,000

This years mods about $5000

I dont even want to think about how much I've spent over the many years of lifts, lockers, axles & misc mods.

3200 on the 96 with 72,000mi on it... thought it was a steal turns out it had no steel...

I bought my 87 in 1992 for $9500
sadly over the years Ive changed my mind and fixed all the stuff that breaks when u add a SBC.
Im guessing around $35k in it as it sits.

Purchased 95' 5 years ago for 10k and put about 4k into it 2 years ago and in the past 3 months I probably put about another 3 - 4k into it with plans that will be at least 5 - 6k in the next year.

So right now I would say I am 18k in the hole...........

Take a look at the sig

Hell I work every summer just to drain my bank account at the end of each summer just to buy jeep stuff. I am at about $5000 including the new warn winch bumper with grill guard i purchased earlier today. And now after that purchase I have $24.89 in my checking account for the rest of the year. I love college

$10,900.00 for my 99 when I bought it around 4 years ago.....

lift $83.00
system ~$600.00
tj flares $free
Roof Basket $50.00
Upgraded Air Intake $1.60
TracLoc rear end $Free

Hell, I had to divorce my wife just to get a jeep. The things you have to do to wheel.
Cherokid
(well....there was that little thing about keeping her from kidnapping my son and taking him to South America. Said to her, 'get a good attorney cos mine is gonna stick hot knives in him.')
