Oh Geez

and the winner of "Father of the year" is.....

:D

You might have sold the car for less than you wanted, but the instant gain in masculinity is well worth the cost.

that's true. I bet your testicles feel fairly weighty today...

What do you guys think the chances of a car with a catless downpipe passing emmissions inspection is? It is running e85 and is profesionally tuned so im not worried about anything besied the visual... do you think the tech will notice it is missing a cat? do they take bribes?

They look...

Well..... They're certainly supposed to. With all of the stock jeeps I've put through testing, I'd say they've looked less than half the time. With the modified jeeps like my '97 they always look. I've watched them leave that inspection mirror propped against the wall SOOOO often with newer cars and the almost never open the hood.

All that said.... Probably not worth the risk.

Well if you are the praying type pray that it passes as it is mine now...
Introducing the new project oh geez.

Just a td04 turbo running stage 2 (14 psi on 91 and a bit more on the corn) via tunning at boost creep on the cobb accesport.

I have the factory downpipe sitting next to its summer tires but i dont really want to install it just to get emmissions tested haha.

hopefully right about 18-20. Harvey at Boost Creep tuned it and I will be getting all of his charts and everything from the PO tomorrow.

Well don't have too much fun. There are some vids on streetfire of certain persons in a friends wrx doing.donuts on i25 in middle of springs :D
some 285 35 18 fill out wheel wells nicely

If its tuned properly you should be fine there, although with higher boost and E85 you have to worry aboyut NOX readings being high. You can always take a junk CAT and split it in half, then hollow it out, and weld it back together around the "test" pipe so as to give the appearance of having a functioning CAT on the car.

Oh, and way better platform choice this time. I very much approve. Are you going to go for more of a Rally look or Road course look with it? Either way, me very much likey likey the little Subie.

Silent sleek sleeper for the next 3 years then I dont know after college. I like it just the way it is!
Good man. Keep it looking super stock. Then walk away and laugh at the guy with all the carbon fiber and stickers and neon and....yeah you get it:rof:

Agreed, I actually love it when people completely remove all the badges and the spoiler from the WRX's. It makes it super sleek looking.

Speaking of sleeper, I totally surprised the hell out of some douche in a mustang with the Kia. He tried taking off from the light so he could get in front of me before his lane ended and I just pushed the throttle down and left him in the rear view. I bet he was all flabbergasted from that. :D
