Offroad HID lights....

If they say "Made in China" you are wasting your money!!!! They will be shot/broken before the years end!! :puke:P.S. Those photos are pretty impressive BUT............ is it worth $200......... there is a reason they are $200 and NOT $700!!!!!!!!

JP said they used them for a year still worked great. And isn't your plasma cutter made in China? So that isn't junk but these are? Interesting. Only junk if you don't own it. :confused: I had set of Hella they broke just as easy as made china stuff. I guess the rocks don't care where it is made. :gee:

Where was your computer made that you used to write this? Just curious. If you are going to bash made in china better clearing out your house. Cause let him without sin(buying made in china stuff) cast the first stone. :D


LOL the chair you are sitting on is probably made in China. Don't be surprised in a few years you don't start seeing made in Africa cause they said the China is looking for cheaper labor and they are starting to build plants there.

Yes, my plasma IS made in China!! I needed one ASAP and felt the $400 I was wasting was worth it at the time!! I have only used it twice and it has worked OK but I do plan on buying a better one some day!

Just for the record here, the computer I was using is a work computer (Dell Optiplex) and yes I know Dell sources from China!! Did not buy the pile but it works sometimes.........thanks to Novell Border Manager(JUNK)!!! And the chair I am sitting on was made right here where I work at UNICOR (Prison Industries) MADE IN THE USA!!!!!!! Yes, I will cast the first stone!!! Atleast I try to find stuff made here in our country helping the AMERICAN worker instead of just buying strictly out of convenience!!! And no I will not have to clear out my house as it has MANY things MADE in this country!! Most of the crap that falls apart......stops working ect is cheap foriegn junk already clogging the landfill!!

Thats funny because my made in Germany cars are of much greater all around quality than my made in mexico um.. cough.. america cars ever did. I'm still a big fan of early GM Muscle and have a lot of respect for the old Ford and Chrysler Muscle cars too, but newer cars from the big three really suck. The 80's killed the big three, and now the life support seems to running out.

I don't care where those lights are made, they work and thats good enough for me. I see no reason what-so-ever to spend 700$ on a set of lights just because they're PIAA's. Now Hella's maybe, but that goes agianst your Made in USA argument as Hella is a German company. Also, while the elictric-arc lamp was first prototyped by an English professor the first car company to use HID headlamps was BMW.

Trust me brutha I try and buy American too. But it is pretty hard to do these days. Alot of my power tools are made in China even though they are Dewalt and Milwaukee. They were designed by Americans and out sourced to China to be made. I don't see anything wrong with that. As long as an American designed it and it is built the way it was designed then where is problem? There are so many things you can buy these days it would be impossible for Americans to build them all. Plus we could not afford alot of them if Americans built them all. My welder and plasma were both made in the USA. But I doubt all the parts inside were made here.

My brother works at Micron they make memory chips for phones and all kinds of gadgets. His chip gets shipped to China put in a phones that says made in China. LOL

Days are changing not much we can do about. We are going to a world economy. Someday a one world government. :eek:
 
I'll just get the HID kit from tcm glx for my Hella 500's and still have less in them than 2 of those!
 
Good, I was telling Stang he'll have to start charging you a "poor advertisement" fee for not getting those endcaps done. :D

My rig is doing great, I'm ready to start parking on some hoods.

poor advertisement?.....bumper will speak for iteself....nothing but good compliments about it from anyone.....

a lot of jeeps in woody P and a good amount come into our shop....and cuz i HAVE a bumper on the jeep it gets attention and compliments...now only if i had some stickers or a card........:shhh:
